Really digging Seas Trees See. Looks like he's been hanging out with Field Works a lot recently. And I love how weirdly beautiful the album opener is.

Dntel is very quiet in all of the things he does. "Human Voice" was one of the best releases of 2014 and it sadly went unnoticed.

I really thought it was Conor Oberst the first time I heard him (breakfast in bed).

It's staggering to see how underrated Dntel is. I am lucky I stumbled upon his songs, which used to be so ahead of their time back in the 90s and early 00s.

dntel - every word (touched 3 compilation), he should be working on tracks like that one. That single track is better than aimlessness and human voice

nobody's reacted to If I Stay a Minute? it's bloody fantastic. making me wonder if i should revisit Dumb Luck (which tbh I didn't much care for back in the day) or check out Aimlessness.

I'm yet to hear the new album, but I bet it's going to be awesome, all the fake hipster reviewers are using the best of their vocabulary to deride it. Must be awesome!

@theboredone both people he is referring are Jimmy, he just is making a distinction between the quality of his work in The Postal Service vs. Life is Full of Possibilities.

I didn't like Dumb Luck very much, it played it very safe and monotonous... glad to see the experimental side of DNTEL break out a bit more. Still not his best but I think it's a lot better then anything else he's put out in the last 5 or 6 years

I'm trying to get my head around JetJags post... are you saying DNTEL isn't the talented half of The Postal Service?

New album is lovely, video for 'Still' also amazing. Gahhhh. Wasn't sold on the kind of simple and ... The Field-ish aspects for a moment, but now totally getting it. The guy who was the talented half of the Postal Service, not the guy who did 'Life is Full of Possibilities', I guess. But really good. More fully realised than e.g. the Jimmy Figurine album.

new EP is awful. Need a new proper album from him so bad. He takes so long to do these things.

LIFOP is still my favorite album to listen to at incredibly high volumes when I'm half asleep.
