"This is definitely not the album version, sounds more like a demo..." Or the version from Devil's Path, probably. Which is far superior.

that's not true. Satanism as commonly practices in modern times is about the prioritising of indulgence over abstinence, amongst other things. see http://www.churchofsatan.com/home.html I am not a satanist but it should be clear that modern satanism as practiced by the church of satan has nothing to do with the christian god. This version is the most common among heavy metal musicians such as King Diamond and Glen Danzig. Not sure about Dimmu Borgir. The other form of satanism associated with the christian devil is generally designed to piss conservative christians off. And it does its job well.

the music is dark, symphonically aggressive and brutal. I just don't understand the necessity of all this satanic staff. I find it stupid to believe in evil.

Awesome, one of their best albums, the golden age of Dimmu. Before they joined the jelly-belly wrestler league. http://roachwell.blogspot.com/

They should have left the Sons of Satan, Gather for Attack! on the album version. When I saw them play with Samael in NYC years ago, they opened the song with that, and I have to say it really got me in the right mood!
