Biography
Dex Arson is a Canadian musician and EDM artist known for his electro and dubstep songs, which were used in the video game Geometry Dash World. He is also a Twitch streamer.
Dex uploaded his first two songs in January 2012, City Lights and a remix of Swedish House Mafia's Save The World. He would later on release other songs such as Purge and Neckbrace. However, they did not gain him much exposure as expected, which caused him to go on an indefinite hiatus in late 2012, after remixing Chris Lake's Sundown. The channel lasted for almost a year. It is believed that Dex forgot the password to his first channel, since it has not been revived even after his return.
After being on hiatus for a year, Dex returned to YouTube with another account, this time under the username MrDexarson in November 2013 after opening accounts on Newgrounds and Soundcloud. He would later start uploading on YouTube in early 2014, with his VIP remix of one of his songs, Lady Killer. He also released his debut album, "Playing With Fire", later that year, which contains singles from his SoundCloud. The album was succeeded by "Welcome To War", an EP released the following year, which contains a remix of Machina, the artist's most popular song.
Dex started rising to fame in 2016 after songs from Playing With Fire and Welcome To War were used in the video game Geometry Dash World. Fans of the game started discovering his music, and his numbers greatly increased.
