Devin isn't really pinned down to one sound; he just sorta bounces all around. I would say probably the closest link to Opeth you'll find might be Deconstruction. Definitely not anything off Addicted though.

This really beautiful song could easily have been a big radio hit if properly promoted. [2] & I dunno what's this lovemaking thingy that people are talking about here, but is a cute little song. <3 Also a much needed break between the highly bombastic songs. Might not seem special as a separate song, but in the context of the album it fits purrfectly in its place.

This really beautiful song could easily have been a big radio hit if properly promoted. I love all the song but the bridge ─"i'm so in love with you..."─ I find so emotional.

I think every genre deserves its chance, I think Devin would be a representative of the same concept

Devin's always been a fan of pop, and pop isn't always bad, as wonderfully shown by this song.[2]

And now he writes a completely straight-forward pop rock song... and it's still fantastic.

Jesus that was unexpected. But what was not unexpected was the quality. Is there nothing Devin cannot do?!?!

@familyguy02011: Haha, it's just so not like Devy... It is great, though. This one caught me way off guard last year.

I'm not disputing as to whether or not it's a good song. I like it, it's just fascinating how many times different bands get away with using the same chord progressions.

How many times have you heard hundreds of chord progressions that have been in songs thousands of times over? Get over it, it's a good song.
