I like the majority of this album. The songs I love, i love intensely. A few fall flat though. Still, an essential listen in my opinion.

Most people below should happy now because Devin really abandon this project for forever now

For me, this is basically Devin's attempt to meld metal, prog, and pop into a coherent whole, and it works fantastically. The whole album is simply joyous throughout. You don't get that in metal too often; the most comparable example I can think of is Babymetal, though I guess a fair amount of power metal bands do stuff like this too. Regardless, this album works beautifully for me. It might actually be my favourite DT album; it's probably not his best (I'd be most likely to give the nod for that to City, Alien, Ziltoid, or Deconstruction), but I think I more consistently get pleasure from listening to this one than from any of his other releases. And yes, don't skip Epiclouder; it's probably just as good.

I remember being stoked about this album after Addicted and Deconstruction. "Epicloud", it sounded so grandeur, and then the album finally came out... It was the most disappointing Devin album ever to me. I didn't feel this one at all, and I still don't four years later.

To say that this was a massive disappointment is a huge understatement. I agree with LiftYrSkinnyTrip about this being the worst album of 2012, which saddens me a bit because I love the rest of Devin's work.

I think I just had a mini seizure after archangels comment about Addicted being Devin's best album [2]

The Dev does it again... True North, Liberation, Grace, More. If this album doesn't put a smile on your face, I don't know what will.

First time when I have heard it I was confused a little, and thought "Dev could do better". But right now I think that it's his second best album (right behind Addicted)! :)

new to Devin Townsend's stuff. Epicloud pretty much instantly won its way into my favorites, and I hadn't even made it through the whole thing yet.

huh the truth is if you have a negative attitude, this won't grow on you, because you won't listen to it much. but if you give it a try - man, you'll love at least half of the tracks! that's what I had to go through with Decon at first

6/10, I appreciate the vibe he went for with this one, but musically it sounds so uninspired and typical.

This album is absolutely amazing, it contains metal, pop and mellow new-agey stuff. Kingdom is probably one of my new favourites.
