Detsl (Russian: Децл , real name Kirill Tolmatskiy ; born July 22, 1983, son of the famous russian hip-hop/r'nb producer) is a Russian rapper and hip hop artist. He graduated in Switzerland and the British International School in Moscow. He made his first live appearance at the Adidas StreetBall Challenge in Moscow with the song "Friday" ("Пятница"). The first music video was made for the song "Tears" ("Слёзы").
In 2000, Detsl has made his debut in the largely underground and unknown Russian rap scene with the album "Who ? You" ("Кто?ты"). He also took part in a Pepsi advertising campaign. In 2001, he released his second album, "Street Fighter". The lyrics for his first two albums were written by Vlad Valov (also known as (Russian: ШеFF). After working for 3 years, Detsl released "Aka Le Truk", his third record, in 2004. The name is also referring to the fact that he somewhat changed his performing name to "Le Truk". This album showcases growth and a major shift in style for Detsl, as he stopped working with SheFF and had more freedom and indepencence with the material. Detsl's fourth and latest album "MosVegas 2012" has been released on January 4, 2008.

μετεμψύχωσις was released in 2017, with tracks like "Pop Song", and " Sunrise on Mars" that really changed his music style / genre a bit, with no lyrics to them. Almost like sample songs for artists

μετεμψύχωσις is a really important word to detsls entire career, because he died on 3 February 2019 in Izhevsk at the age of 35 from a sudden heart attack after performing his live set at a private birthday party, before detsl died, he entertained the idea of faking his own death and disappearing at exactly the same age in the 2007 and 2015 interviews to news media agencies before the concert in the same city he would actually die in. The last post on Instagram was his own picture, written in oil on canvas, the inscription on it reads: “RIP RGB”, and in the caption to the work explanation: conspiracy theory collection. reincarnation is somewhat commonly called a conspiracy theory.
Acoustic released in 2013, contains tracks like "10:33", and "кто ты" (who you) , aswell as " Слезы" with "Легалайз" (legalize) which are all repeats of past songs, but collaborated with Animal Jazz(s) own twist to it.
