'I Can't Break It To My Heart' is the fourth single from Delta's third self-titled album. It was written by Delta Goodrem, Kristian Lundin and Savan Kotecha.
It was chosen over Possessionless. Chosen by her fans and by her. There was a grand debate on the forum over which one was chosen. This was chosen.
It failed to reach the Top 10 in Australia and experienced the fifth largest drop in ARIA history of this decade when it fell from #13 to #40. Chartwise it is Goodrem's third worst charting single after her debut I Don't Care debut at #64, and You Will Only Break My Heart which peaked at #14. It shares a peak position with single A Little Too Late.
The title was shortened to I Can't Break It for the American release of Delta
