Biography
Hailing from the state of São Paulo, production duo Deekapz (FKA DKVPZ) is known for infusing global bass music with the tropical melodies and Brazilian rhythms of their childhood.
After a chance b2b set in 2014, the two young producers, Paulo and Matheus, joined forces for a slew of joint releases. Their fresh sound, characterized by progressive vibes and clean melodies, inspired by traditional references, caught the ear of international audiences, culminating in a 2017 Soulection White Label release (SWL019).
Since then, they only been exposed to a wider realm of opportunities, including placements with some of the world’s best rising talent and a recent European tour. As Deekapz continues the dream of living through sound, stay tuned for more inspired production and more engaging collaborations on a global scale.
