Perfect sound. I don't know if it was recorded so well, or remastered, this album sounds beautiful.

When I was a big thrash metal fan earlier, it wasn't easy to me to recognize why this album is considered a death metal rather than thrash. Later I realized, that in the first place this is due to the characteristic eerie morbid riffs, especially in the slower parts, which are really distinct and not just merely usual Exodus staccato palm-muted routine. This album still feels very thrashy of course, I'd say more so than Necrophagia's debut and even more so than Seven Churches perhaps. Either way, it's one of the best albums which OSDM and death metal overall have to offer.

Priceless album. The first one I heard from them and which I liked from the first fiffs.

hah! Fucking hilarious. Surely they're entitled to some royalties from whoever owns the "snuggies" brand. Classic.

Yeah, 30 years of this masterpiece. It was so important for shaping the death metal sound. Thanks for everything, Chuck.
