Bob Dylan was once asked what it felt like to record the greatest folk album in the history of music, to which he modestly replied "I don't know, I wasn't the one who made 'But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter?'."

Probably his most known album, it is strong release, but i enjoy more Rose Coluds of Holocaust. My favorite track The Golden Wedding of Sorrow

"He's Disabled", "The Mourner's Bench", "Because of Him", and "Little Black Angel" are covers/re-interpretations of songs from Jim Jones' People's Temple Choir 1973 gospel album He's Able. The original songs were "He's Able", "Something's Got a Hold of Me", "Because of Him", and "Black Baby", respectively.

Not only Spotify, but other streaming services too. I agree, this creates a mild inconvinience.

I find it to be the most depressing DIJ album - Martyr, Hollows... almost every song's lyrics pierce you like a dagger.

Neo-folk masterpiece - I'd put it in the same place as Sol Invictus "Trees in Winter" and C93 "All the Pretty Little Horses", but it's probably the best from those three.
