It's really good but I keep hearing from people that this is their most unlistenable album. I can listen to this EASILY. So what are they talking about?

The lyrics don't make any sense and using Bjork as drum kit samples rather than synths is downright baffling...definitely too abstract for me.

daaaamn, this album was footwork before i even knew it had a name! there's so much that footwork tracks and the songs from this album share in common, what with the really spastic & heavily syncopated percussion, tempos around 160 BPM, & the constant driving bassline/kick drum through all the tracks. i dunno if all these similarities were completely intentional or purely coincidental, but the production on this is some of the the craziest shit i've ever heard; definitely my favorite DG album so far

[1/2] off the top of my head: albums-wise, dj rashad's double cup is genuinely godly, and traxman's da mind of traxman series is awesome as well. their other work is rad too, but those albums are standout for me. artists-wise, in no particular order, dj manny, DJ paypal, footmerc, DJ tre, and lux familiar are all really good. they've all got really 'full' sounding production, lux sounds the most expansive IMO. for more wacky sounding stuff, i hit up cakedog and early-mid 10s lil jabba a bunch. menace in the phantom is 👌. for footwork that fuses with other genres/sounds, machinedrum's late 00s to mid-10s stuff (albums like room(s), vapor city, and vapor city archives) is a fusion of footwork with garage/bass music. artists that are a fusion of rave/jungle/footwork are machine girl (their non-digital hardcore stuff), pzg and dubsknit, and DJ clap/johnlukeirl. stuff is hella hyper, it's awesome

[2/2] i wish last.fm didn't nuke its 'browse your scrobbles under _____ tag' ability whenever CBS took over. it was a core functionality that got pointlessly removed for no reason at all (just like the absolute decimation of what you can do in your 'about me' page); to this day that shit's still got me like ❓❓🤷❓❓. if the feature was still there, i'd just link you all the scrobbles i had, and then you can just browse the stuff i had listened to the most, but since that's gone, i only have like a vague recollection of what i was hitting up back then.
