Absolute masterpiece. I cannot imagine this being executed better. And the last couple of minutes are breathtaking. I really like them, especially Brendan's voice and playing style.

Probably one of the most entrancing and surreal pieces of music I've ever heard. Incredible and breathtaking start to finish, not to mention the absolute hypnotism of the video as well

Fantastic. Easily rises above the rest of the album. Terrific video (above), too.

My family members hate this song because I always try to sing along with Lisa... (As you assume, my voice isn't too crystal.)

I've never heard a song by DCD I didn't absolutely love. Anastasis is no exception.

the final made me cry when I saw them live in Berlin. it's heartbreakingly beautiful.

I love the Greek influence. I used to hit FF when it reached the instrumental end because it felt to me like it went on a bit long...then I heard them perform this live and realized just how beautiful it is. I will never skip over the end again.

Perfect blending of European and oriental tunes.. It concludes in such a magnificent melody. One of my favorites from the album.

For us greeks, this is a very special song.Probably it's known that this song is based on the rhythm of the greek dance called ZeimpeKIKO. For those who wondered what "kiko" means.

the song becomes more stunning the more it evolves within the movements of the composition..as for this sounding like something to a bad soundtrack to the history channel that is probably the daftest comment I ever heard. Yes Lisa Gerrard vocals were featured on the soundtrack for Baraka but it was only one of the most visually breathtaking documentaries made of the last century.. I guess some people just cannot differentiate the music made by real musicians and a guy who throws together some ambient synth melodies together for the History Channel .

most reviews of anastasis pegged this track as a highlight. but one of the negative anastasis reviewers said that kiko is "like the soundtrack to a bad History Channel documentary". wtf. really? they should be reviewing cars instead.
