On “Screwface Capital,” Dave talks about growing up in London, which he dubs the Screwface Capital. He references the struggles he experienced and how the pace and activity in cities can lead people to neglect their basic duties to family, and oneself, occasionally bringing out the worst in us.
The ambiguity of the intro and outro reflect our zeitgeist of consumption – where we use and abuse to fill the gaping hole of need in our lives – to the chants of ambition and passion which drive us and those in the big cities. Dave lives aware of the Screwface Capital being an amalgamation of all these things.
