“The Christians and the Pagans” is a song written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Dar Williams that appears on her 1996 album "Mortal City". About a solstice-celebrating lesbian couple who visit devout Christian relatives during Yuletide, it is said that Williams intended the folk-pop tune to be a humorous respite from tortured holiday gatherings.
