The only thing I can say against this record is that it's ten or fifteen minutes too long. I love the last four songs too, especially Devil's Bed and Rocky World, but the first nine put me through such a trip that I'm just about worn out by Lotta Love to Give's end! A good worn out, but worn out all the same.

This picture Obviously is not the American cover that everyone is bitching about . If you think THAT censorship was bad , I used to get into Three Dog Night when I was just into my teens. They had an LP called [album artist=Three Dog Night ]Hard Labor[/album] And I bought it. One of my best friends did too... He has the uncensored version pictured AT LFM . I had the Censored version .A huge band aid covered over 2/3's of the LP cover. It was ridiculous But while I like artwork There is some extremely good LP art out there . I really don't care if it's wrapped in a brown paper sack as long as the music is good. I have never EVER bought an LP based on the Artwork. I have bought another version of an LP because of Better packaging Special edition ETC. But If I didn't like the music , I set it aside And never bought anything from that artist again...

My parents had the LP with the band-aid. I thought the whole thing was weird as a kid!

For the first time I have just picked this CD out of my cabinet and started listening. Beautiful music indeed! About the CD-art: the "american edition" text line is absolutely ridiculous!!! Imagine being the sorry designer who was asked to rape the original art work of this album cover... (I wish there was a way to replace this with the real cover art)
