This is my favorite of their four albums aesthetic wise. Homework has the fire club bangers, Discovery is the cool conceptual space-dance-thrill-ride, RAM is sleek and classy like an expensive steak dinner, but god damn the VHS horror world of Human After All is the coolest shit ever. And that cool ass completely black CD was so awesome to me as an 8th grader.

It was actually pretty good, not the greatest though and some tracks kind of drag, but it is pretty good still.

I would say it’s their best, but I feel the same way about every Daft Punk record, so I couldn’t possibly choose

It slaps, feels so heavy and industrial at times. No idea how someone could hate it, but this is understandably their least acclaimed album

it's one of those albums that are so conceptually strong that you want to love it, and some tracks are all the way there...but on the whole it just doesn't quite pull it off. i think it's much better than people recognized at the time, but this was an album with all-timer potential and the flaws are all the more tragic for it

the easiest fix would've been to trim some length off the tracks. in some places i think it totally works ("make love," "television") but for most...it would've basically been a perfect low-stakes album in the 30 to 35 min range. some defend it by saying these are meant to be heard in the club where time moves differently, but fine, let the djs play them that way...in the car or at home, there's just too much drag (and you feel it most on the songs that would never work in a dance setting anyway, like "emotion")

Its a total psyop. People really hate on this and then talk about how much they love Alive 2007 like do you not realize that half the songs on this album are also on that one?

I do get a smidge of ear fatigue from it but at the same time I find it commendable as fuck and many of the tracks fuck hard. They definitely don't get credit for what they did with this one.

This one is so unusual, the production is really nice and special. Love the way this album feels. Also, repetition legitimizes. Every time I hear something off this I feel like it's a sunny spring morning and I just sprayed too much lime axe body spray on my 15 year old body before going to school.

Underrated as fuck, this album was hated because it wasn't another house record. Their most experimental and interesting work, aswell as their hardest. Technologic is fuckn amazing.
