“Masterpiece” is referring to DaBaby’s girlfriend DaniLeigh. They made their relationship public in early December 2020. They both previewed the single during an Instagram video on December 19th.
On January 15, 2021, the song released with a music video directed by Gemini Vision, and has appearances from DaniLeigh, plus Billion Dollar Baby signees Stunna 4 Vegas, Wisdom, Rich Dunk, and more.
This marks the first collaboration between DaBaby and d.a. got that dope.
“Masterpiece” was certified gold by the RIAA on June 24, 2021.
