Coming to you from the historical streets of Detroit, Michigan, Critical Bill is the latest offering in a long legacy of musical Innovators from the Motor City. This five piece urban rock outfit features Powerdise on vocals (son of Motown legend Melvin Davis), Michael Scott on the 7-string Guitar, Mark Causley on Drums, Phil Thacker on Bass and DJ Tom Sawyer on the Wheels of Steel. Critical Bill combines the raw, melodic sounds of today's rock with the nasty, cutting edge flow of the most dangerous hip-hop sounds in the industry. Don't be fooled - this is not your typical "rap/rock" band, rather, Critical offers a collection of tight, catchy hooks, mixed with the energy of hard rock heroes such as Rage Against the Machine, Sevendust and Godsmack. Since their inception in 2002, Critical Bill has played to Numerous sold-out audiences in their hometown of Detroit, as well as touring across the country with such artist as Powerman 5000, Zug Izland and Uncle Kracker. The band has been featured on the soundtrack for several major motion pictures and has received radio play in 10 major markets on P1 stations, including 101.1 WRIF in Detroit. Currently the band is celebrating their third release entitled "313" along with a new DVD "Larger Than Live" which features live performances, photo galleries and many special features.
