1) Creamer are a power pop band from Nashville, Tennessee. They have released two singles: "Magic" (2017) and "Drugs No More" (2018)
After a decade as a central figure in the bourgeoning Dallas-Fort Worth music scene, singer and songwriter Philip Creamer recently decided to move his young family to Nashville, TN where he would start work on his first solo project. Dovetail, the band he formed with his younger brother and longtime friends nearly 10 years prior, had run it’s course. Creamer was set on making a record that would be true to taste and right from the heart, to introduce his strikingly powerful voice to a new audience. The remaining members of the band went on to form the hit backing band, The Texas Gentlemen. Soon after moving, Creamer connected with Pat Sansone (Wilco, The Autumn Defense) and Audley Freed (Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow).
In late 2016, the producer duo of Pat Sansone and Josh Shapera (Flaming Lips, The Autumn Defense) went to work on Creamer’s twelve-song debut album which features members of The Texas Gentlemen, Audley Freed, Pat Sansone, and drummer Dave King. Creamer will release "Drugs No More" in May 2018 as the first official single from the album, along with a music video, directed by Rachel Lichtman.
Creamer toured in support of Wilco in 2017 on the first leg of their Schmilco tour, stunning first-time audiences across the mid and southwest. You can hear "Magic" on Tastemaker station Lightning 100, and across all digital outlets.
