This song made me paranoid when I was five years old. (I lived in a coastal town.)

I've never understood peoples beef with Coldplay's supposed "change" from Paracutes to the present. All their albums have been great, and it's all Coldplay when you listen to it. A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y, Viva la Vida, and especially Mylo Xyloto evoke the same Coldplay feel that Parachutes did for me. [3]
