Idk if I'm just a dumbass but Guthrie's riffs and effect usage sounds kind of like black metal, if only vaguely.

So majestic. As if the previous 9 songs weren't enough, this last track comes in to make the album near perfect.

Ну это гениально, господа. А гитара в конце звучит как машина, уходящая в дрифт. Просто мощь

Guthrie's guitar is epic, a crystal skyscraper of a solo, cutting a vent in the stratosphere [2] that's what I meant to say...

The guitar solo at the end of this... One of the most eargasmic minutes in all of music, surely. Most cathartic of songs

Nine months later... That bloody bassline is still stuck in my head every damn morning.

it's my funeral -- the guests are fake bawling their eyes out; my closest friends are all dressed like the addams family; the only hors d'ouvre being served is smelly cheese with holes; some distant cousin with the sensibility of a common garden gnome who hadn't spoken to me once in his life is gorging himself on the cheese; my mother, visibly shaken, accompanied by her best friend, a bitter old hag who is secretly relieved that i'm pushing daisies, comes up to the casket (open, glossy black, and covered in glitter) and is shocked to find it empty; moments after that the opening riff of "musette and drums" blasts, cate blanchett and i walk into the room, hand in hand, both of us wearing black wedding dresses -- turns out it's a different kind of ceremony

I have the 80's in mind while visioning this. But if this song gives any indication, it's timeless.
