Biography
Formed in December 2008, Edmonton’s Cleanse Kill bring their vision of corruption to the Canadian metal scene. Seamlessly melding elements of hardcore and groove with ruthless, modern death-metal, the band creates a crushing sound that is sure to satisfy a wide spectrum of metal fans.
In 2009, the original line-up wrote and recorded a 4-song demo which was released on myspace and iTunes. After numerous member changes, the band now has a concrete line-up consisting of Marty McTeague, Chris Rada, Spencer Buan, Chris Schmode, and Glenn Thomson, with each member bringing their own unique personality to the music of the band. As of late 2010, the band has been recording a new 5-song EP titled ‘Aegis’ which will be available through iTunes and through the band directly July 9th 2011.
Having shared the stage with such bands as Despised Icon, Architects, Suffokate, Blind Witness, The Contortionist, Dead & Divine, and Misery Index, Cleanse Kill puts on a hectic, and powerful live performance.
