Claire Cameron Band are an inventive and catchy female-fronted alternative rock band. Fusing genres of rock, alternative and singer-songwriter with a hint of metal they create a superb, melody driven sound.

Continuing the energetic Leeds tradition the band write and perform original, passionate, emotive songs with their signature mix of styles.

It has been a busy couple of years for Claire Cameron Band with live performances at Limetree Festival, BOMFEST, 360 Club/Festival TV, PUNK, Leeds Festival Fringe, Leeds Digital Festival, 100 Club London, & Leeds Underground going down a storm. They have been performed live on the show and been interviewed by Alan Raw of BBC West Yorkshire Introducing on BBC Radio Leeds numerous times now and you can hear them on the radio again Thursday 20th September 2012 on Alan's show and with Michelle Dalgety on her show for Yorkshire Music Collective.

Last year CCB took to the stage as a full electric band on for their first London headline gig at 100 Club and were so well received they hit the headline slot again to kick start 2012 for Feedme Music's January Future Rock night.

Heading back to 100 Club for a third time on 28th September 2012 CCB will be launching their much anticipated EP 'Time Will Tell' with Feedme Music. Recorded with Neil Sadler, whose credits include working at Maison Rouge (Jethro Tull) with Laura Marling on her early recordings, and the acclaimed Blues Rock Guitarist Larry Miller, at No Machine Studios.

Having taken a break from the live gigging circuit for a few months to focus on writing and recording, Claire Cameron Band couldn't be more ready to bring their new material to the live stage! Set to be the best offering to come from CCB to date 'Time Will Tell' delivers forty minutes of female-fronted alternative rock with a melodic story-telling thread from start to finish.

Best described as 'a mini rock opera' by guitarist, Pete Nash, pour yourself a cold one and settle down to be enveloped by their new rock sounds. Better still, join the band and special guests at the launch party at 100 Club!

After the launch CCB plan to take their live show to music festivals and original music venues across the UK.

The CD 'Time Will Tell' is out on Friday 28th September and the launch party is on the same day.

The music of Claire Cameron Band takes a cross section of almost every genre imaginable and flits between them in a surprisingly cohesive manner. Rock, metal, folk and prog all have a place on ‘Time I Start’ as the captivating voice of front-woman Claire, along with the hooky choruses, drive the song forwards. ‘No Illusions’ is gentler but equally well constructed with sweeping guitar from Pete Nash while subtle keyboard parts offer a perfect backdrop to the powerful vocals. ‘Question Every Day’ sees the rock vibe return with a vengeance as the rhythm section kicks things up a notch and the ending guitar solo reaches just the right level of self-indulgence to be really satisfying. Overall the effect is very ‘Fleetwood Mac-meets-Imogen Heap’ but with something a little more volatile and fiery lurking below the melodic surface. After several years on the circuit it is great to see that Claire has found a band with which her talent can truly thrive.

'Leeds Festival Fringe finale ended in style at the 'Well' on Wednesday with the Claire Cameron Band hosting a gorgeous night of music.
Claire Cameron and her band played out the Fringe with flamboyant flair. Energetic, contemporary and unique, Claire's band had the audience writhing and clapping with pulse quickening rhythms combined with delicious harmony and melody and a stunningly visual stage presence.
What a great night at the 'Well' anybody who didn't go missed out! All of these bands are are worth going to see on their own merit-do we really have to wait a year for the next Leeds Fringe?'
