"Slow Down Baby" is a song recorded by American singer Christina Aguilera. It was the fourth single released from her third album, Back to Basics (2006). It was released as an international double A-side song with "Oh Mother".

"Slow Down Baby" was released as a promotional single in July 2007 in the Oceanian and Asian countries, as well as in Sweden (where it was a freebie with an issue of the magazine Cosmopolitan). It was not released in the U.S and Europe. It had a moderate success in Australia. On September 2007, the song was released as a radio single in Latin America.

Writing and recording

"Slow Down Baby" was written by Aguilera, Mark Ronson, Kara DioGuardi, Raymond Angry, William Guest, M. Knight, Edward Patton, Gladys Knight, Marvin Bernard, Michael Harper, and Curtis Jackson. It was produced by Mark Ronson and Aguilera for her third studio album, Back to Basics, in 2006.

The song contains two samples: "Window Raisin' Granny" performed by Gladys Knight & the Pips from their 1973 album Imagination, and Tony Yayo's debut single "So Seductive" (2005).

"Slow Down Baby" is a pop song set moderately in the key of F# minor. The instrumentation of its features bass, clav, guitar, organ and piano.
