Yep, it's in 7/8 time. But hey, that ain't unusual for the shit hottest rhythm section around. Chris Squire & Bill Bruford are complete masters. I bought this album when it first came out, and it still sounds brilliant. This is my favourite track off Fish out of Water.

What you really pick up on this album is Chris's vocals and how much they play a part in the Yes sound backing Anderson. Agreeing with Plaidsheep on Steve Howe's voice. Steve had a solo album a few years ago, where he sang some of Yes's songs while playing along. Ouch!

Great album. I always enjoyed when Yes would break out and let Chris have fun. I have been a fan since 1971.

It's Steve Howe who can't sing.. not Chris :) I'm just sad that Chris was only able to get it together for one solo album. He's immensly talented, but spent years in mediocrity because of his battle with the bottle. Still, he's an awesome bassist. Love this album.

Significant in many ways. The use of the Rick to create deep rich moods, vocals that almost require you to echo the lyrics, and the fact that his career only stood the chance of turning downward with a solo album. He stood nothing to gain but to showcase an amazing talent.

Chris might not have Jon Anderson's chops, but he the cornerstone of Yes, the holder of the Yes flame, and one of rock's all-time greatest bass players. Fish Out of Water still holds it own after all these years. Just seeing him this year touring with Yes proved he can still rock with the best of them. Keep rockin', Chris!!!!

i love everything about this song. the layers, timing, rhythm in 7/8, bass groove, relaxed feel.... it's like prog without the overplaying.
