Following the funk-inspired “Sexy Black Timberlake,” “Black Moses” is the second single of 2019 for the Compton-based rapper and DJ Channel Tres, and it features an instrumental that is slower, but more hard-hitting and a bit inspired by trap music, as the bass and the kick drum are accentuated.
Just like the previously released song, “Black Moses” is a satirical song about the stereotypes assigned to black people and, more specifically, about the rich ones' vices. The experimental rapper JPEGMAFIA marks his feature with a pretty aggressive verse, which deals with his ambition to be recognised as an inspiring and surprising artist, as well as his violent approach to haters and rivals.
