the re-recorded Bestial Devastation & Morbid Visions were so damn good, it caused the current incarnation of Sepultura to call it a day, lol.

How much was Jairo T (Guedz) paid or his cut into Max and Igor rerecording his creation aka Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions? Why not just rerecord Roots since that's the only Sepultura album where Max actually contributed to the music wrote? Would they have to pay Andreas Kisser to do so or something?

Both re-recorded releases by the Cavalera brothers are at least better than the remastered originals.

These re-recordings are really noice. Didn't expect much as I generally don't like the idea, but these really work. Not sure if I think they beat the originals (I always loved rough '80s metal productions), but they're a welcome addition to me anyway. The only odd thing about them is that physical copies are under the "Cavalera" banner while digital still adds "Conspiracy". I wonder why they didn't simply just call this project Cavalera from the start.

The re-recorded Troops of Doom has just been released! God, it's a balm to my ears. Total slaughter, brutal sounds, everything in the best traditions. And yes, now it's definitely one of the best versions of this track nowadays. Absolute delight!

Fuck whatever's been called Sepultura in the last 25 years. Max & Igor together just proved everyone they're the fucking real deal. I was totally skeptical about these re-recordings but holy shit, they fucking delivered.

Sepultura is completely fine without them. I really don’t get why people still think you have to pick a side like there’s a war between Cavalera and Sepultura, they both moved on.

I guess they have the mentality of a teenager to keep whinging about Sepultura. Cavelera Conspiracy had to release a rerecording of an old album, as their main song writer, Marc Rizzo, left both Cavalera Conspiracy and Soulfly due to how poorly Max and his wife treat his bandmates.

It's hard to record new stuff when their main songwriter, Marc Rizzo, left both Cavalera Conspiracy and Soulfly. It's no secret Max doesn't write music and incapable of doing so. I do wonder if Igor is recording music with Max purely for financial reasons.

lol re-recording old albums. I guess Max tried to write music for once, but it was too hard, so he falls back to re-recording an old album that former bandmates and more talented artists wrote. Max and Igor are such money hungry whores who only cares about their milking their fanbase for money. As I said a few years ago, this band is fucked without Marc Rizzo and re-recording old albums proves my point.

This band is fucked since they don't have Marc Rizzo to write the music anymore. Hopefully fans of Max will finally see just how untalented he is. We already know he can't write lyrics. Writing music that sounds okay will be a lot harder since Max has never done it in his entire career. He got lucky that others around him knew how to play their instruments and write good tunes.

I think all records are fine, except "Blunt Force Trauma", as for me. Inflikted is a really good start, Pandemonium is almost a death metal record with some distorted vocals. Psychosis is just a crazy punch, in some places even makes me remember old Sepultura. I prefer those albums to post-"Omen" Soulfly's ones (though, their "Ritual" is good).

First album is excellent straight forward, psychotic aggression. Cannot recommend highly enough if you just want to vent some frustration.

New album Psychosis is THE BEST ALBUM OF 2017. There's no idle moment. Just brutal heavy sounds that seem to fall from the sky like anvils. A natural-born classic!

The new album puts the previous ones to shame, IMO. Best music Max wrote since Soulfly's "Dark Ages"!

I listened to only to the first couple songs off Psychosis... totally killer. I thought it was gonna be average or so. I was wrong! It's a really strong effort by Cavalera Conspiracy. I am totally impressed by it. 2017 has surprisingly a lot of strong releases from metal artists.

Just listened to the new album and once again I am not impressed. I really liked the "Spectral War" single but as a whole the new album sounds quite repetitive and uninspired, as I sadly predicted/expected. Max really hasn't got "it" anymore.

He hasn't got it for quite some time (10+ years). In my opinion after "Dark Ages" album he lost his ability to make decent music. + I think he is methamphetamine user ;)
