Yeah it's an amazing album. And the 3 songs Init, Euphotic and Frog somehow have a very melancholic / sad feeling, those 3 always make my eyes wet very quickly.

I am still not over how long I underestimated this album. It is different from its predecessors, but manages to keep what made them great and expand upon that foundation. Also, in this case I actually like the remastered version better than the original. Only slightly, but still.

WTF is going on? Apparently, I have listened to this album before. But somehow I had gotten this idea stuck in my mind that it was inferior to Hydroponic Garden, World of Sleepers, and Twenty Three (all of which are, admittedly, great masterpieces, so it is not too difficult to get confused). Now I rediscover this album and realize that I was, uh, wrong, and this album is in fact an epic masterpiece. How could I have missed this??? Well, better late than never, I guess. So here's to one of the greatest pieces of music ever!

@journik850: From CBL's Facebook page: "Where the F**K is Interloper??? Short answer: It'll be back soon :) Long answer: We have regained the rights to our albums, that's why Interloper is gone, WOS will go in November and HP in December. During this transfer we take the opportunity to re-master the albums, in collaboration with Vince of Ultimae Records."

Disappeared off Spotify for whatever damn reason. I'm sure that it will eventually turn up again and I'll be alerted of a "new" CBL album only to find it is Interloper back again.

This album was sold out only few month after releasing. I've been searching for the physical CD for a very long time. Now I can only say the long waiting was worthwhile -- every single track is truly a masterpiece!!!

This album has some of my all-time fave CBL tunes on it. In fact, I don't think there's a bad track on the whole album.

I think this is my favorite from them. The two earlier ones might've had some of their best individual tracks, but looking at them as whole albums, they're more varied in quality. And music like this is best listened to as album-length sessions, not by skipping and shuffling tracks. I mean the first half of Hydroponic Garden is clearly superior to the second half. Interloper doesn't seem to have many peaks or drops like that, it's consistently impressive.

I won't even hesitate to say that this album is the best from CBL, and possibly in the Ambient genre i ever heard! This was just amazing, i just can't stop listening to this album! Whatever influenced him for this album is something out of this world!:) Thank you Daniel:)

while the previous two CBL albums are timeless masterpieces that I will always adore, this one feels more focused and mature. the compositions are more minimalistic with a clearer story to tell. many artists seem to follow a similar path, tending towards simplicity and clarity as their music evolves over time. I don't remember who said that simple things are the most difficult to create, but I agree and it is from that viewpoint that I prefer to look at albums like this :)
