Tell me, Camille... why are some of your pieces so conservative, and others so forward-looking? ._.

We played an adaptation of the Carnival of Animals in symphonic band when I was in high school. It was probably the most fun I've ever had whilst playing music.

One of the great composers, all of the piano concerti, the 2 cello concertos, the violin concertos, so much superb chamber music (the last 3 sonatas from 1921- honed to perfection!). There are actually 5 symphonies all are wonderful. Beside the great Organ Symphony the Symphony #2 is a delight! If you are beginning to know this composer, there is a lifetime of great discoveries ahead! Enjoy.
