they just changed companies but before this their old company ceo always put herself in their content, trying to get famous herself instead of promoting the girls themselves and they have been on a hiatus for way too long + their company does not know how to manage them at all

yea, I personally cannot support a group with such young members.. this industry is already so exploitative as is, it's even more unsafe for young girls it makes me sick

the most famous idols are the ones who get the most hate. bts, blackpink, aespa, ect. are all proof of this. fame or fan support does not equal happiness, and even if it does, me supporting them being just a single person will not make them "less miserable". the bottom line is companies need to stop debuting idols so young because not only is it harmful for the kids who debut, but also for older idols and trainees who are told they are too old to train or debut when they're only in their late teens or early 20s

@ilysulli do you apply this logic to other corporations that use child labour? oh why don't we support corporations that use child labour and slavery "so we can make their time less miserable"? Of course no one says to do that because most of the money goes to those corporations/companies, not the people they're exploiting. All you do is contribute to the issue, further enabling the cycle of exploitation. In kpop, supporting companies like this does nothing to protect children from being further exploited, you're just being a willing supporter of it

And look how he turned out... missed his whole childhood and tried to reclaim it the rest of his life. Hopefully we know better now.

Thinking about it this way you are right, but they are one step away from being adults, and they enjoyed their childhood singing, dancing and imitating their idols, and now it's time to be idols, they are fulfilling their dreams. The problem is that being an idol is a very heavy job, from what we see in their careers.
