It can still be defamation if you refuse to show evidence other than "wah I don't like you"

One of the best rock bands of the 00s. And ultimately underrated because so many people who know them only know them because of Jackass/Bam/Tony Hawk and think of them as a joke or novelty band. Unique sound, but closest comparison I have is somewhere between Helmet and Prong but with a more straightforward hard rock style. And that guitar tone is one of the best ever.

In May 2023, Hunter also announced that he was leaving 96BB, writing on the band's Facebook page that "Like Shaun and Tim ... I am leaving for the sole reason of Deron's personality outweighing every positive thing there could be about this band. It was the nightmarish hell that intoxicated Deron brought to our life night after night. Causing constant distress to everyone in the band, including those working on the road for the band. Seemingly no different than what occurred with CKY

The first time I ate an Impossible Whopper I thought that I'd Just order another And then I realized that in life you were Better than the Original Whopper The first nurses who danced were the ones that I Vaguely remember But tied in a knot all the dogs that we Haven't yet expended [Chorus] Is it your facemask That's kept you safe? Or is it Joe Rogan's lies Which aren't supported by The Science? (Thinking about cancelling Spotify) And is it Dr. Fauci That's checked your facts? Or is it Jordan Peterson When we're in the middle of a pandemic? And now when she dances on TikTok Behind ample layers of facemasks A dog in the park is a great candidate to throw Under a bulldozer A light at the end of a lockdown that's Been going on forever You don't understand why these Science Deniers Are looking immunocompromised So take my vaxx Cause I will walk you around in a mask Why don't you stay home now

I like to re-live the 2000s by listening to physical format media like my Venga Boys Cds, as well as occasionally ordering the Impossible Whopper. It's better than the Original Whopper.

The band that really brings back the nostalgia to the days of my 18 year old self in early 2000's. The good old days.

Been a fan since 2002, one of the only bands from my high school era to stay with me through the years. I miss the old lineup but, I totally dig Chad's sound on the new record. I'm looking forward for more in the future.

My best friend, Ryan Dunn, died in a car accident four years ago. He's dead and gone. Iceland's his favorite place. I'm gonna build him a skatepark. You don't have be a musician to be an Earth Rocker. Andrew Shramberg is an Earth Rocker. My other best friend, Brandon Novak, is on heroin again. He's back in rehab for his sixteenth time. Good luck with that one. Sick of the bullshit. Sick of all this shit. I don't go out anymore, 'cause I hate every motherfucker. I don't care what they're up to. Four years I wasted, sippin' on drinks at the bar, chit-chatting with fucking nobodies. Now I stay at home, like a fucking hermit. I'm not gonna take any shit from anyone. I know what's going on. I got set up. I got jumped. Thank God Nicki wasn't there to watch me get my fucking ass kicked. She would have wound up with a black eye and probably went to jail. She has a big mouth. I live for this shit. I love it. Bring it the fuck on. Payback's a bitch motherfuc-WHOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAA WHOAOOOOOOAAAAAAA

It's hard to say if i'm blinded by nostalgia or something, but CKY has stood the test of time for me. They were one of the first bands I can say I loved and despite the fact that my musical taste is all over the place, I still love jamming to them. Being associated with skateboarding and Bam Margera certainly helped them gain popularity, but I definitely believe their music stands on its own. It's a shame that shit went down with Deron (though The Phoenix is surprisingly good after a few listens). Definitely better than that Camp Pain record Deron released under 96 Bitter Beings.

CKY rox! I finally got around to getting some albums by them today. Before that, I just had a couple of songs.

I totally agree, they weren't recognized for catchy choruses but ... The Phoenix is full of them. While it's pretty short, I'm really satisfied by this album! Now they just have to play these new songs live - something they're not doing since IDR.

Yesterday I was browsing iTunes looking for something to listen to while working out and decided to listen to IDR for the first time in years... the vocals and the way they are treated are way more pop-leaning than I remembered! Half of the hooks feel like they could be in one of the pop/R&B acts that were so popular back in the day, I mean it without a bit of humor

I'm pretty excited about both versions of CKY, Deron is cool and so is Chad.

Ok, NOW it's been officially announced. Turns out the remaster was handled by Tom Volpicelli. It's being stocked in a bunch of US stores, and should be online in the 'coming days' for all us foreigners. Also might be worth mentioning that Deron plans on self-releasing his own version of the vinyl, but I'd be pretty wary of that, given his recent track record.

Urban Outfitters are releasing Volume 1 on coloured vinyl for the first time ever, with a brand new remaster by Chad and Jess. Hasn't officially been announced yet, but some US stores broke the street date. Hopefully more info soon!
