After the release of their November debut album "An Evening with Silk Sonic", R&B duo Silk Sonic returned on Valentine’s Day, 2022, with their cover of the song appropriately titled “Love’s Train,” a song originally performed by ‘70s R&B/Soul group Con Funk Shun in 1982.
The song was announced on Silk Sonic’s Twitter account on the day of its release with the caption naming the song as “One of Silk Sonic’s favorite songs.” The song was released a day after Anderson .Paak had played the drums for Eminem for “Lose Yourself” at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show.
