2. Brian Dunning is an Irish flutist largely known for being a member of Nightnoise. He had both Celtic and jazz influences early on. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in 1977. He is also known for works with Jeff Johnson like cùChilainn's Last Battle and can be heard on the Gangs of New York (soundtrack).
