1. British musician Robert Joseph 'Bob' Weston (born on 1 November 1947 in Plymouth, Devon; died 3 January 2012, London) is best known for his brief role as guitarist and songwriter with the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Recruited into the Fleetwood Mac line-up in late 1972 as replacement for guitarist Danny Kirwan, he recorded two albums with the band, Penguin and Mystery To Me, both released in 1973. Weston was fired from the band in late 1973 when it emerged he was having an affair with drummer and founding member Mick Fleetwood's wife. Weston went on to record several solo albums including Night Light (1980), Studio Picks (1981) and There's A Heaven (1999).

2. Bob Weston is a famed American musician, producer, recording engineer, and record mastering engineer. He was born and raised in Waltham, Massachusetts, and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell, Lowell, MA. While working at the University's campus radio station, WJUL, he began mixing live performances of local Boston bands such as The Pixies and the Blake Babies.
In 1987 Weston joined the Volcano Suns, playing bass guitar. The group was led by Peter Prescott, (previously the drummer for Mission of Burma, who had broken up in 1983). In 2002, Weston joined the reunited Mission of Burma, taking the place of Martin Swope as tape manipulator and live engineer for the band. He appears on and recorded the albums ONoffON and The Obliterati.
Weston joined Steve Albini in Shellac in 1991. Under Albini, Weston honed his studio production skills and has gone on to produce material for bands including Sebadoh, June of 44, Polvo, The Coctails, Archers of Loaf, Chavez, Rachel's, Ken Vandermark, and Rodan, the last of whom named their lone album after Weston's nickname. Bob Weston was also Albini's Assistant Engineer on Nirvana's In Utero album.
In early 2007, Weston opened Chicago Mastering Service with Jason Ward on Chicago's west side.
