Biography
Born in 1969, swedish Bjorn Fogelberg started to experiment with electronic music on a Commodore 64 back in 1985. Since then he has produced two commercial CDs, released a bunch of digital tracks and been featured on several CD compilations.
The style of his music has naturally changed over the years. The first album 64 (1996 XAKK ) lended a lot of inspiration from his years in the 80´s C-64 scene. Second album Karooshi Porn (Ninetysix Sounds) had a more mature sound with music that fit well into the 90´s ambient/electronica/techno vibe. Ambient tracks like SixFiveOneOh, Entity and Quite Derivative are still played on internet radio shows to this day Another track from the Karooshi Porn album - Trioxidation was recently used in a Loneygirl15 episode, which has been viewed close to 800 000 times on YouTube.
In 2001, after a summer on the magical island of Ibiza, Bjorn started to produce music for the dance floors. In 2005 he had his first commercial EDM release with the remix of Deep Orbit´s track "Revolver" for Dutch label KYR Records. Also in 2005 he resurrected XAKK Records as a digital label for releasing his own stuff and that of his most talented friends. The first release "A brand new world", including the remix by Andrew Kelly, got massive support from DJs like Satoshi Tomiie, Damian DP, Tony Estrada and DJ 19.
In 2006 Bjorn released more tracks and remixed other artists. His own track Mind your matter (2006 XAKK) was played by some of the biggest DJs in the industry, like Armin Van Buuren ("One of my favourite tracks…") and Markus Schulz.
Another of his tracks, The black hole in my heart was supported by DJs like Matt Darey ("Loving this deep, dark and dirty progressive tune! Has my full support!"), Moshic, Fuzzy Hair, Ivano Bellini, Tony Estrada, Shylock and Deepsky.
