I used to think that, but upon further listening, "Get It Right the First Time" is a pretty great track as well. "Everybody Has a Dream" is still kind of bleh though, no matter how many times I hear it.

Track 8 and 9 are classics. I'm not saying you guys are wrong, but you should check them out again.

Nope you are correct, here I am now in my 30s and it’s the perfect end to a perfect album. The pacing of the track to me is just perfect and the second verse is incredibly written. Kinda sums up Billy for me, even the songs I think are sleepers to begin with grow into favourites.

yeah, I know, what's with Doris Day? Even a bizarre duet would make more sense than this. :)

Love the incorporation of instrumentals in this, mixed with his voice that makes him sound so young. Brilliant album.

This is really the only Billy Joel album I like...I've tried to like the rest, but none stack up to the quality of The Stranger unfortunately.

For me, it's a tie between this one and Glass Houses, I think. A wonderful piece of work though!
