“Standing on the Sun” is a song by American singer, Beyoncé featuring Mr. Vegas from the deluxe reissue of her fifth studio album titled “Beyoncé” released on November 24 2014.
The song was premiered in April of 2013 in a commercial for the popular clothing company H&M which featured Beyoncé. The version that was used in the commercial was never released. The version that made the album is a dancehall/reggae inspired remix with rap verses from both Beyoncé and Jamaican artist, Mr.Vegas, whereas the original does not have these elements. Several versions of “Standing on the Sun” have leaked online some of which contain different harmonies and some do not include Beyoncé’s rap verse.
