“Drunk in Love” is a song by American singer Beyoncé featuring American rapper and husband JAY-Z, serving as the third track on her eponymously titled fifth album BEYONCÉ. It was released as one of two lead singles from the record (the other being “XO”) on December 17, 2013, by Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.
Like most of the songs on BEYONCÉ, the song’s lyrics express female sexuality and love-making with her spouse. It was written by Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Timbaland, Detail, J-Roc, Dre Moon, Brian Soko, and Rasool Diaz; production was handled by Detail, Beyoncé, Timbaland, BOOTS, J-Roc, Dre Moon, Brian Soko, and Rasool Diaz.
“Drunk in Love” peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100; it won Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
