First time it felt boring, but after some time i got this album. Probably something with production that prevented to enjoy it immediately.

I saw the live presentation of the album on youtube with Behemoth playing live on a roof, it's not bad but it definetely needs more spins to make you get used to it.

New album is a logical continuation od ILYAYD. Maybe less accessible, than predecessor. Solos and drums really stand out, but the rest is standard Behemoth (in their well-estabilished style). To all those moaners, what did you expected? Svenevith times will not come back, they are after their prime ("The Satanist"), so next albums will probably be continuation (or more/less eating their own tail), of aforementioned album, nothing groundshaking. Take it easy and it will grow on you.

I would love to hear the type of BM album Nergal would make now so many years later. Even from a non-Behemoth side project

After all the negative reviews I saw on this album, I am pleasantly surprised. The album is actually pretty damn good, especially the lead guitar work. Lots of ferocious dark energy. Not much filler fat. The mix is dry, dull, and lifeless, as has been everything Satanist onward, which does a disservice to Behemoth. These songs with a Colin Richardson mix would have been even more incredible.
