There’s sarcasm and commentary: a kind of ugliness about people who are empty inside. It was a specific feeling, like a bite in my mouth. (10/20/15): What's the connection between ‘Common Girl’ and ‘On The Sea’? Was there a reason for reusing the same/very similar keyboard sounds? “There is only one similarity here, and that is the rhythmic pattern of the arpeggio… The sounds are different, one is piano and the other is harpsichord…..the chord progression is different, the melody is different, and the tone/feel/mood couldn't be further apart. IN terms of that arpeggio, you can find that in many places throughout the history of music, from Bach to Beach Boys……” ~ Reddit
