"Mandy" (originally titled "Brandy") is a song written by Scott English and Richard Kerr. First recorded (as "Brandy") by Scott English in 1971, the song achieved greater success when released in the United States in 1974 by Barry Manilow whose recording reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart in the Winter of 1974, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 in 1975.
