ARTIST BATTLE is an extended play for the South Korean 2023 reality competition show, BOYS PLANET. It was released digitally on April 6, 2023 and consists of 5 tracks of different genres and producers, recorded and performed by the 28 remaining trainees divided into 5 teams who participated in the show's third mission of the same name.
The 1st track, "Switch", is an oriental pop song produced by Vince Nantes and Yuki. The 2nd track, "SuperCharger", is a sentimental hip-hop song produced by David Amber, August Rigo and Skylar Mones. The 3rd track, "Over Me", is an R&B pop song produced by HIGHBRID's DIN, T-lack & OSKAR and Hertz. The 4th track, "Say My Name", is a newtro synthpop song produced by FLUM3N, Boran and IRIS. The 5th and final track, "En Garde (Korean: 준비,시작!)" is a funk pop song produced by NATHAN, Daily, Ronnie Icon, KZ, ONE.KI, Rico Greene and Likey.
The "Over Me" team, consisting of trainees Zhang Hao, Chen Kuanjui, Jay, Lee Jeonghyeon and Ricky, under the group name Overdose won with a total of 621 points.
