"BOOMBAYAH" (붐바야) is BLACKPINK's debut song along with "WHISTLE", taken from SQUARE ONE. Released on August 8, 2016 through YG Entertainment, the song peaked at #7 in South Korea and topped the Billboard World Digital Songs chart in the first week of sales. On October 13, 2020, it became the first K-pop debut music video to surpass 1 billion views on YouTube.
