BK 49 was a death metal/thrash metal band from Aurich, Germany. They formed in 1996. The band was formed by former members of Assorted Heap. The last known lineup of BK 49 consisted of Bernd Reiners (vocals), Arne Berents (guitars), Klaus Kessemeir (guitars), Patrick Feist (bass) and Marc-Andrée Dieken (drums). Past members include Joachim Meyer (bass), Thomas Marter (drums) and Frank Reiners (drums). They released one demo and two full-length albums. BK 49 disbanded in 2003. Grind It! Records was the last label they were signed to.
