Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Axel Mansoor has lived in 5 different countries across 4 continents but currently calls Los Angeles home. He believes that flaws are one of the most important aspects of a person. The contrast they create makes us who we are; from our flaws, our strengths arise. It comes as no surprise that his music is more than just catchy indie pop. Following in the footsteps of artists like John Mayer, James Bay, and James Blake, Mansoor sings, writes, produces and plays guitar on all of his songs. The music features themes of transformation and self-love, and one of the underlying messages is the realization that you don’t need to rely on others to feel validated.
Authentic, bold, and honest, "Wasted My Love" marked a vibrant 2017 debut for Axel Mansoor. The single reached #5 on Spotify’s US Viral 50 chart and received praise from EARMILK, Indie Shuffle, Hillydilly, Ones To Watch and more. Follow-up single "Out of My Head" also garnered recognition across the music community topping the Hype Machine popular chart and earning spots on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday playlists in several different countries. Song by song, the LA-based artist is showing listeners that it’s okay to make genuine and emotion-driven music without having to slap a label on it.
