From the small town of Cobourg, Ontario, Autumn Avanue formed late in 2004 and gave post-hardcore new perspective. From screamo influences and emo/rock based roots, Rick and Duncan developed a new genre. Acoustic-core. Relating to personal experiences, their truthful lyrics and melodic guitar riffs grasp life, love and emotion, developing some of the most infectious tones Murray Daigle has ever been privileged to produce.
Signed to Exit 57 Records, co-founded by Murray Daigle of MDS Recording (Cauterize, Summer Hero, Not by Choice, Mudmen, and many more) and Shane Macaulay of OntarioPunk.com (owner of OntarioPunk.com), Autumn Avanue has spent the majority of the last 4 months in the studio recording. After completing all post-production, the newly founded indie label is now the driving force in the launch of Autumn Avanue's debut album, Closer to being Content.
In addition to hearing the newly released album, Autumn Avanues live show is something not to be missed. With soaring emotion and scorching melodies, they perform with energy and passion that simply motivates and inspires.
