Biography

There are multiple artists with this name:

1) A Norwegian 70's band. Aunt Mary is one of the early and by many considered to be one of Norway's definitely best prog bands. Their music is a mix of heavy hard-rocking tunes, combined with clear influences from the genre. The more symphonic sound however didn't appeared until their third, and last studio album, "Janus". A great concept-album to start with. High-skilled musicians combined with good, creative melodies makes Aunt Mary an important Norwegian band to become acquainted with.

2) A German hands up project, produced by Rob Mayth (Robin Brandes).

3) Aunt Mary is a Finnish noisecore band. Started with more hardcore style, but in their legendary 7" done in '90, Aunt Mary managed to put all 600 songs into one 45rpm 7"! Intense and original sound. When Aunt Mary stopped, one of the members formed Bizarre Uproar harsh noise unit which is still active and has extensive discography.
