Aubrey Key, out of small town upstate South Carolina, wears his influences on his shirts & his heart on his sleeve. Bringing in the psych folk elements of a young Daniel Johnston, the pop sensibilities of Pavement, and the fuzzy rock of Ty Segall - Aubrey has been entertaining fans worldwide through both a growing social media presence & live shows throughout the Southeast US. A fan of hyperpop, death metal, and professional wrestling, his songs bring in a diverse set of sounds & styles. His recordings are decidedly lo-fi, seeking to capture the feelings of isolation & the generational struggles facing not only Gen-Z, but all of us. With a diverse set of listeners originating both through viral TikTok dance routines and consistent releases, he is primed for a major 2022 and beyond. “Good Morning!” is his most recent release, and he is nothing if not prolific.
