Tantrum" is a single by Ashnikko. Ashnikko officially announced the song on February 29, 2020.
The song’s haunting melody combined with a fast-paced electro beat helps emphasize Ashnikko’s message of being spoiled and quick-tempered. Continuing the themes of her previous EPs "Unlikable" and "Hi, It’s Me", Ashnikko encourages sexual liberation and female empowerment through the lyrics.
Prior to the song’s release, Ashnikko has performed “Tantrum” during several live performances in late 2019, before finally announcing the track and its cover art on February 29, 2020.
On March 10, 2020 she posted a snippet video for the music/lyrics video. On this snippet you can see the "Pick Your Player" screen, just like in the music/lyrics video
On March 22, 2020 she announced the music/lyrics video with a snippet again.
On March 23, 2020 the music/lyrics video was officialy released.
This song was supposed to be the lead-single of her first mixtape, DEMIDEVIL, but it was later demoted to a stand-alone single.
