It's Alright, It's OK is the first single from the album Guilty Pleasure. The song was released on April 14, 2009 in the United States in radios and digital download.
The song is a spunky break-up anthem about being single and in control of your life for the first time.— "I love break-up songs," Tisdale admits during the press release of the single. This song marks her genre shift from her previous album Headstrong composed of pop, dance, Contemporany RnB, and electronica into guitar driven pop-rock, power pop, and electropop.
The music video was shot on March 24, 2009 in an Beverly Hills mansion and directed by Scott Speer, and featured 90210 star, Adam Gregory, as Tisdale's ex-boyfriend who cheats on her. The video is all about getting the best revenge on a guy who cheats on her. He leaves his house and she get the hideaway key, and has party at his house and everyone's throwing things. She then stages a performance of the song on platforms in the pool. The video is expected to premiere in mid-April 2009.
